Town Offers New HarborCam

Port Washington, NY—
As the Town of North Hempstead continues to expand recreational outlets for residents, Supervisor Jon Kaiman and Councilman Fred Pollack announced the availability of an electronic device boaters will welcome: a live webcam that will feed them information on water conditions, saving them a trip to the waterfront.

Residents can access the real-time information about water conditions by connecting to the webcam on the Town’s website at www.northhempsteadny.gov.

The webcam, which updates conditions every few seconds, can be accessed as follows:

Once on the website, click Parks and Recreation, then Town Dock. That will bring up the live webcam.

For more information call 311.
