TOWN OF NORTH HEMPSTEAD ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
FOR MANHASSET LAKEVILLE WATER DISTRICT COMMISSIONER

Manhasset NY – North Hempstead Supervisor Jon Kaiman and Councilwoman Maria Christina Poons announced today that the Town is now accepting applications for an open position of Commissioner for the Manhasset Lakeville Water District. The position became available due to the resignation of former Commissioner Bonnie Lynn Gould.

Supervisor Kaiman has created a screening committee to interview and screen candidates, upon completion, the Supervisor will make a recommendation to the North Hempstead Town Board at which time the Board will vote on the candidate.

The Manhasset Lakeville Water District is responsible for providing tap water to thousands of residents and businesses. District operations are overseen by a board of commissioners who are elected for three year terms.
