Councilman Ferrara to sponsor

Adult, Infant, and Pediatric CPR & AED training course

North Hempstead Councilman Angelo P. Ferrara announced today that he will once again be sponsoring training and certification courses for National Safety Council Adult and Pediatric CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) to be held at North Hempstead Town Hall.

“Infant, child and adult CPR and AED training are critical skills to have in case of an emergency,” Councilman Ferrara said. “It is my great pleasure to make these classes available to the residents of North Hempstead.”

Two sessions will be given, but only one is needed for certification:

Session One: Thursday, January 24, 2008 from 9AM to 1PM

Session Two: Thursday, January 24, 2008 from 6PM to 10PM

Class size is limited to fifteen people, so registration is on a first come, first serve basis with priority given to North Hempstead residents. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be certified by the National Safety Council and certificates will be issued.

There is a fee of $50 a person, which covers all materials and certification cards. Checks are to be made payable to Code Red Training, Inc. and should be mailed to:

Councilman Angelo P. Ferrara

North Hempstead Town Hall

220 Plandome Road

Manhasset, New York 11030

Please make sure your check contains your name, full address, phone number and the time of the class you wish to attend. A reservation will be made once the check has been received, and a confirmation letter will mailed. There will be no refunds.

“If any one has questions, please contact my office at (516) 869-7775,” concluded Councilman Ferrara.
