NEWLY-REVISED TOWN OF NORTH HEMPSTEAD STREETS, PARKS, AND HISTORIC SITES MAP NOW AVAILABLE

UP-DATED VERSION AVAILABLE FREE AT TOWN HALL OR BY CALLING 311

Manhasset, NY– North Hempstead Town Supervisor Jon Kaiman announced today that an up-dated map of the Town, including parks and historic sites markers was now available at no cost from the Town by either visiting Town Hall, or by calling 311.

“This beautifully-printed, exquisitely-detailed map of the Town of North Hempstead is something everyone should have,” Supervisor Kaiman said. “It’s not only a detailed street map of the Town, it’s a resource of the Town’s historic sites, parks, historic districts, hospitals, golf courses, highways, main roadways, and boundaries of the Town’s villages and unincorporated areas. While visitors and tourists will find this map particularly helpful, I hope Town residents will take the time to obtain a copy.”

In addition to containing an alphabetical street index which permits readers to locate exactly where on the map a particular street is located, the publication also clearly identifies the location of all of the Town’s parks and historic locations.

Publication of the map is a cooperative effort of the Town, the Town’s Business and Tourism Development Corporation and is in great part made possible by a generous sponsorship by the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System.

Anyone interested in obtaining a copy of the map at no cost should simply visit Town Hall located at 220 Plandome Road in Manhasset or call 311.
