Garden Railway Model Train Displays Coming to Clark Garden May 6 & 7

North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Department of Parks and Recreation are pleased to announce that Long Island Garden Railway Society (LIGRS) will have beautiful and enchanting model trains and displays at Clark Botanic Garden in Albertson on May 6 and May 7.

LIGRS’ The Garden Railway will be on display during Clark Botanic Garden’s Spring Festival, on Saturday, May 6 and the following day, Sunday, May 7. The display will be located near the rose garden.

The LIGRS creates detailed garden railway displays with model trains that zip through tunnels and over bridges all in the midst of beautiful gardens. LIGRS has made garden railway displays for many places around Long Island including the Planting Fields Arboretum and the Cradle of Aviation Museum.

Both the Spring Festival and The Garden Railway display are both free of charge to residents. Clark Botanic Garden is located at 193 I.U. Willets Road in Albertson. For more information, please call 311 or visit www.northhempsteadny.gov.
