Supervisor Bosworth and Councilwoman Kaplan Welcome Manhasset Cub Scout Troop
North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Town Councilwoman Anna Kaplan were pleased to welcome Cub Scout Troop #3 to Town Hall on February 10. The Troop visited Town Hall to learn more about the Office of Sustainability’s environmental efforts. The seminar educated Troop #3 on the three cornerstone ideas of reducing, reusing and recycling as they work toward earning their environmental badge. Supervisor Bosworth told the scouts, “You are learning about these environmental programs at a young age, so that you will know how to conserve our precious natural resources when you get older.”
