North Hempstead Supervisor’s State of the Town Address to be Broadcast LIVE for first time
WCWP 88.1 FM to broadcast beginning at 1:15 pm

Westbury, NY – The Town of North Hempstead will be partnering with Long Island University’s C.W. Post radio station to broadcast Supervisor Judi Bosworth’s State of the Town address live for the first time ever. The speech can be heard on January 30 at 1:15 p.m. on WCWP 88.1 FM or www.wcwp.org.

“This is a great opportunity for our homebound seniors and other residents who are unable to attend the event to hear about all of our accomplishments from 2014, as well as my vision for the future,” Supervisor Bosworth said. “It’s a way for everyone to stay informed and updated, without having to be in the same room together.”

Some topics Supervisor Bosworth plans to include in her address are the strides made to improve the Town’s Building Department, a visioning plan for the waterfront and the continuing improvements to the Town’s infrastructure.

The 2015 State of the Town address will also be accessible on the Town’s website at www.northhempsteadny.gov/stateofthetown immediately following the address, and by the week of February 9th it will be able to be viewed at www.mynhtv.com and on North Hempstead Television (Channel 18/63 on Cablevision and Channel 46 on Verizon.)

For more information on the State of the Town address, please call 311 in the Town of North Hempstead or dial (516) 869-6311 if you’re calling from outside the Town.

Supervisor Bosworth delivers her first State of the Town earlier this year.
