Town to Host Annual Senior Halloween Dances in New Hyde Park & New Cassel
New Project Independence ID cards to be available at both events

North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board are proud to announce the return of the Annual Senior “Halloween Monster Bash!” The event, sponsored by the Department of Community Services and the Department of Services for the Aging, attracts hundreds of seniors and features music, games, food, and a costume contest.

Due to the success of the event in the past few years, residents will be able to select from two different dates:

  • Friday, October 24th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Clinton G. Martin Park in New Hyde Park
  • Thursday, October 30th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the North Hempstead “Yes We Can” Community Center in New Cassel
In addition, on both dates, the Town will be issuing brand new ID cards for members of the Town’s aging-in-place program Project Independence. Seating is limited and residents must call 311 of (516) 869-6311 ahead of the event to reserve a seat.

This event is for Town of North Hempstead residents only.
